Because Writing about Love is Easy

Don't pretend that what you seek is but a maze,
It's all a dream.
It's not worth trying to find the key.

Wait, this hour is slipping away from thieves.
No time to find the barren sleeves,
That once held the heart of you and me.

We’ve been here once and time again.
Moments we chose to discipline,
But never did they pass trial.

So close your eyes and walk the plank.
Forget the ship that our love sank.
And treasure the time that it made you smile.
